All OCECO Cable Sheave Brackets provide an efficient and convenient means of bringing the swing line cable through the tank rook and passing it down to a tank winch.
The main frame is of carbon steel plate construction, designed for welding to the tank roof. The main sheave turns on a self-lubricating bushing, supported by a stainless steel pin. The stuffing box is designed to prevent vapor losses while allowing the cable to move freely without seizure.
Both lower sheave wheels are of cast iron. The swing line cable is in constant contact with one of the guide sheaves regardless of tank height, length or position of the swing pipe, or pitch of the roof. Consequently, the cable is held in perfect alignment with the stuffing box gland at all times.
