Type F-1 Foot Operated Gauge Hatch Specifications

The OCECO Type F-1 Treadle Type Hatch is designed for use on storage tanks where pressures do not exceed 2 oz./sq. inch. These units are opened by pressing straight downward on a malleable iron pedal, eliminating the awkwardness of a vertical foot pedal. These hatches are self closing and may be padlocked in the closed position.

The OCECO Type PF-1 lockdown pressure gauge hatch is designed for use on storage tanks holding internal pressures from 2 oz. to 15 P.S.I.. These are very similar to the Type F-1 except that the treadle is replaced by a yoke, hinged on a brass pin, that extends from side to side across the cover.

The OCECO Type FH-1 should be used on storage tanks with a maximum pressure of 2 oz./sq. inch or less. They are very similar, in design and dimensions, to the Type F-1 except they are hand-operated. All OCECO gauge hatches are available in special materials of construction for corrosive purposes.
