In certain tank venting applications, the direct atmospheric discharge of vapors may be unacceptable. This situation may arise as a result of environmental regulations, costly evaporation losses or hazardous vapor composition.
The OCECO Type V-163 Vent Valve is ideally suited for this application. In addition to providing positive pressure and vacuum relief, a flanged pressure outlet connection permits the routing of vapors to another vessel or scrubber.
This unit is very similar in design to the OCECO Type "T" Vent Valve whose durability and performance has been proven through world wide service, in varying temperatures and conditions for over 30 years.
The standard unit consists of a cast iron body, covers and yokes, aluminum trim, 125 lb. ANSI flanges, and relief settings of 1/2 oz. pressure and vacuum. Please consult the factory for availability of special materials of construction and elevated settings.
